blind scan question on dvr-1100c

Greetings all,
Was wondering if its possible to prevent the DVR-1100c from
scanning the 12200-to-13000 range during a BLIND SCAN?

I wanted to stop the unit from wasting its time on that whole
range.

Not sure if that question has already been asked or posted
elsewhere.
