After seeing the phenomenal transfer of 2001(watching it right now) I would like to suggest they try to do Blade Runner.

Its a great movie but sadly the absolute poorest DVD transfer in the world. There is not a good copy from the master anywhere and if they can do this kind of quality work with 2001 maybe they could bring Blade Runner upto the same standard.

Anyone else be interested in this?

Yes, Blade Runner was shown on HDNet Movies in September. (The Director's cut.)
One of the movies that I kept on my 942 DVR until I had to surrender it for the new 622.

"Blade Runner" was on a few months back...I had to wave goodbye to it when I upgraded my 942 to a 622. I hope they show it (and "Dune") again. They both looked great.

I enjoy my 1999 "Stanley Kubrick Collection" 2001 DVD. However, HDNet's current 2001 presentation is superior to the exisiting DVD. Though it isn't nearly as terrible as the "Director's Cut" Blade Runner DVD, the transfer and Dolby 2.1 audio deserve a world class remastering, imo.
