Hey guys, I live in PA and have FOX PITT as my local RSN channel. The other day I was flipping through channels and the Boston NHL game was on NESN (has always been blackout before). Has there been a change in the NHL blackout laws or was it just a computer glitch?
thanks!

It might be that the Bruins game was sold out 72 hours prior to air,so the network "allowed" the game to be broadcast to all boxes.

From Jan 8-14 is the free preview of NHL Center Ice. Hockey games that are on the RSNs are in the clear even if you don't subscribe to the sports pack or Center Ice.

High probablity it was a glitch...
BTW I hope you guys get to keep the Pens in Pittsburgh where they belong..

Thanks for the info guys! I checked out CI last night, it was nice to see some out of market games!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the city of Pittsburgh gets their butts in gear and gives the Pens a good deal....
