I have two joeys connected to one of my hoppers. Over the last couple of months, I have had an occasional issue where the screen goes black then after about 20 seconds, the joey reconnects to the hopper and recovers. (This happens to the joeys independently not concurrently.) These events were rare until a week ago when one of the joeys starts cycling the black screen event several times a hour. i have reset the joeys, checked the connections, verified the MOCA green status, etc. but it has not made a difference. I see no obvious reason why this should be happening.

Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this and what I must do to correct it?

Thanks Lucky86 for your reply. Oddly enough, the black screen issue has diminished greatly. It is a once-a-day type of issue right now. Your suggestion of weather is interesting. We had just been through one one of the wettest months we ever experienced (since Dish.) The issue seems only related to one hopper and its Joeys--not the other. We rarely watch live TV... the issue happens when we are watching a recorded program. The MOCA graph goes red, later, the black screen recovers and then we have to go back to DVR recordings and re-select the program. I don't think this has anything to do with the in-house cabling. All has been stable with it and I don't see why such a dramatic change in performance over time should occur. But could the weather you mentioned (water) affect the feed from the Dish to just one Hopper and affect watching a recorded program rather than live TV? Please know that none of the recordings have been affected...they are all intact and play fine.
Thanks for your help.
