It's been a week, and so far there haven't been any black screen issues. I'm crossing my fingers, but everything seems to be fixed.
I guess the advanced techs were right, the internal SmartCard was getting deauthorized. So if anyone in the future has this problem, suggest to the techs to send you out a replacement SmartCard.
