Birdog Port Savers x2

Hi
Thanks Guys for letting me join your satellite forum.

Any chance any of you guys in the US can help me out in the UK?
I am trying to get hold of 2 birdog Port Savers.
I have Horizon 2.5 meter (Birdog) and my port savers are installed internally to the internal tuner.
They are both quite worn out and I only have myself to blame.
Horizon says they will fit it to my meter but say because it is a repair it will be very expensive and I would be better off buying a new v3 Model.
If I can get hold of 2 Port Savers I can repair it myself and the best part is the parts are very cheap from the USA.
Horizon will not sell these parts to its customers.

Hello Caketin and welcome to Satelliteguys.

You will probably have better luck posting this to the FTA section of the board. A lot of those folks don't stray beyond that area, but there are many there who have large parts bins than may be able to help.
