Binghamton NY locals

Has anyone heard anything more about Binghamton NY locals?

I thought they were made available?

oops wrong market, I was thinkg Eire, PA which was the last added.

Yeah, Binghamton. They're on the coming soon list, but not yet uplinked.


As a side note dish has been much slower adding locas this year.

At this point last year dish had added 16 markets.

This year they've only added 6

They are running out of room again. That is the issue. If you look at the way the locals have been added ( http://ekb.dbstalk.com/5 look towards the bottom of the page) they are added in spurts as the new satellites are thrown up in the sky.

I have never once heard anything official about Binghamton. I got several e-mails last summer telling me that Binghamton was planned for "Spring 2005". Whether or not it really it is - is another story.

Well maybe when AMC15 and 16 get into place the rest of local activity has been place. Those to SATs seem to have been in testing modes forever
