20/20 hindsight

not missing anything, save the money spent on equipment that's becoming more worthless daily and time/labor.
willing to pay DTV or whoever $50- 100 a month more than the $$ spending now for the master feeds. even more for the backhauls.
paying for NBA L Pass,Sports Pack,NFL ST,NHL CI anyways and have for decades.
picture quality was biggest thing about satellite tv for me even the in CRT days.
never thought of satellite tv as a hobby till the Internet came into it, still don't. was always a means to a end, like a snowblower or a boat.
watching sports is my hobby.
and really no matter how one adds it up the Internet was caused the scrambling. has become part of the pluses and minus of the Internet.
on a side note:
for years I've said if NPS and other big dish providers added$ .50-1.00 a month on to the bills for lawyers on retainer to represent big dish owners we would not be in this position today. for the right $ we could still get the master feeds. 20/20 hindsight oh well
