i'm kinda curious. a gent on another thread claims he is getting all the premium channels and 2 hd dvr's for one hundred bucks a month. plus, he claims bhn gave him three hundred dollars for his old directv boxes.

either this guy is smoking something funny or he knows somebody!!!!! or am i missing something? thanks.

umm, well honestly I've heard of some ridiculous deals being made when a CSP is trying to make u switch from satellite. I guess what I would do if I had satellite is when I call BHN for an install... sound very undecided and sometimes u can get a sweet deal. Of course it matters on when u call and the specific CSP u talk to.

They do pay for Sat boxes too, I think it's like $50 a box, but I don't know if that's any Sat box or just specific ones. Also it matters if they have the special package that month. They all end after a period of time

The only other time I've heard something like this is with unsatisfied customers who have had multiple service calls and put in customer complaints, so if the CSP feels like the customer is going to leave BHN they try desperately to keep u as a customer.

There was a customer I remember going to who paid less than BHN employees (under $30) and they had 2 boxes a DVR and HBO+ I cant remember what other premiums he had... might of had HSD too I can't remember

he said when he switched a sales person, from bhn's satellite division, came to his home and wheeled and dealed. the deal is only good for 2 years.

i do have an extra hd receiver now....who would i contact to see if they would buy it or give me credit since i'm switching back to their phone service? vonage is tanking faster than the titanic!!

well if you're switching back, getting tv service and phone service you can always try calling customer service and see what they offer. You're right though.. now that I think about it, alot of the good deals are being made by door to door salesmen. I don't know where u can find one of them, they're really kind of rare in my county. Maybe if you have a new apartment building some where near u. They usually try signing ppl up over there, so you might be able to get some info at an office
