bev 6100 with a SmartCard

I already have a Bev 6100 Hd receiver and I am waiting to receive one from my broker. Apparently the delay I am experiencing in receiving this unit is that this particulae 6100 with come with a Smartcard that needs to be attributed to this particular unit . Does anyone has a 6100 with a smartcard ab=nd why is BEV aading a smartcard to the 6100 when it is already build into the unit ?

I have no email from my broker about any access card needed for my current Bell sub...

N2 was cracked, so maybe this is N3?

There are no cards being distributed for the 6100's. The slot is disabled in the current firmware. Whether a card is inserted or not, it does not care and will only use the internal one.
