BEV 6100 HDTV reciever (brightness) off.

I have a BEV (dish) 6100 reciever that is way off in the brightness setting. Its to bright.
I need to correct this in the box not the TV . Is this possible?

It is not possible.

However, you could add a scaler, like the Lumagen, for your desired correction.

Why cant you adjust it on the set, then adjust the controls on your other device (ie the DVD player).

What display are you connecting to? Most displays have multiple memories (sort of).
