BEV 6100 digital output cable Help!!

Hi, I have a BEV 6100. I am having a hell of a time finding the correct digital (fiber optic) cable as the 6100 has a male output. does anyone know what the correct cable is for this receiver. thanks

I have two Bev 6100s and both are standard TOSLink (fibre/optical) cables. Any standard Optical digital cable will work.

Are you sure it's a male output or just the black dust cap jutting out of the optical hole?

The plug is definiitely off and I have a standard TOSlink fibre optic cable and it does not fit because the BEV 6100 is definitely male check out the pics below.
i couldn't enter the link because the site doesn't let me. copy and paste and replace the leading 'a' with 'h'.

Note: the red light is the optical and not a plug.

Weird. Are you the first owner? If you are it may be a QC problem from the mfr. If it's second hand maybe it's a broken end from the previous toslink cable?

btw, would you be in Ohio?

My best guess is, it looks like the dust cover (door) is broken and that is what is preventing you from connecting the cable. If you can "remove" the cover your cable should work.
