I just do a Hopper reboot to bring back the 4K listings. Never tried the Netflix app reset. Is that way faster?
Resetting the Netflix app on the Hopper3 is faster than rebooting the Hopper3. Rebooting the Hopper3 also messes with any recordings. The only thing is you have to sign back into Netflix whenever you reset the Netflix app.
I have been watching a lot of Netflix UHD 4K movies recently and have been comparing them on my Sony TV app versus the Roku app, versus the Hopper3 app. I have not seen much difference. My PlayStation 3 is the only device that actually does Dolby 5.1 but that is limited to 1080p for the video.
My next testing will involve disconnecting one of my devices from my Sony XBR-65X900E TV so I can test my new Amazon 4K Fire Stick. It currently is connected to an old Sony TV in the basement. I use it to watch Dish Anywhere content from my two Hopper3 receivers when I am on my exercise bike.
