Best method to get phone line to Hopper

I feel like taking advantage of caller ID. But, the phone line is in the office room. What would be the best way to get a phone line over to the Hopper in the LR?

I see a powerline system called Phonex on the Dish Shopping page. This looks like it will work. But, I wanted to know if Hopper had DishComm, so I could use a single Dishcomm phone adapter, instead of the two-piece Phonex system.

I have a vague recollection of a post stating no Dishcomm. But, I wanted to double-check. (Search didn't turn up anything obvious.)

The Hopper does not have DishComm, the Phonex would be your best bet.

I assume we now need to hook up phone lines to both Hoppers in a 2-Hopper install--since the integration software is not yet ready?

I don't know. Connect one and then call your phone and see if it shows up on both. Sharing things like Caller ID may already be implemented, much easier than sharing streaming video.

Have not gotten the hardware yet, just making final plans on where to put the mix of two Hoppers and four Joeys.
