ATLANTA – BellSouth is introducing wireless broadband services for small businesses in New Orleans as part of its rollout of the new service.

BellSouth also offers the service in one Georgia (Athens) and one Florida (Palatka) market but has plans to expand the offering across its Southeast coverage area in coming months.

The wireless service offers download speeds equivalent to those of a high-speed T-1 data line, or 1.5 megabits per second. The cost is $69.95 per month.
