Being told i have to send ALL rvcrs back to get Hopper

Scott so if the node is outside you'll need a back feed coax from the hooper to the node correct?

my set up is simple but might be complex for H/J - I have a switch outside now with direcTV and it feeds two lines to each room (2 rooms) - so I do have a backfeed line which is good I assume?

one RG6 line from hopper to node.

You need one wire going to the Hopper (it sends everything back out through the same cable) and a wire going to each room from the Node / Cable splitter. :)

Just curious if anyone knows is it ok to use coax wall connectors, or barrell connectors on the run from the node to the Hopper? I would assume yes, but don't want to assume.

BTW what a fun day to be a Satellite guy! Worth the price of membership and then some if you ask me.
