BB@ Home disc By Mail Ending September 19th

Got an email today with the 2 free PPV certs.

Now to plan the dropping of BB@H.

I received an email today with my first two certificates. I did as suggested earlier and online I chose to cancel then was given the $5 off for 6 months. I re-signed with Netflix at 2/month - $6. I had completely forgotten how superior Netflix is. From ratings to displaying selections and the most important not having everything I want to see on Long waits. With BB Home I was forced many times to just have something sent so I could go into local BB store to get something I wanted.

Say what? I'm paying $8/mo for one/mo.

You said it. BB@home was pathetic for any movies not produced 2 or more years ago.

I have a disc in the mail to me. Can I still exchange it at my local BB store for one more movie to watch. I do not want to keep it or the one that I might get at the store. Just watch and return.

Called my local Blockbuster. They will not let me turn in my last mailer for another movie. Anybody want to own a copy of The Impossible. No way, will I mail it back to them for Free.

Thanks for calling them jerryez, I appreciate the confirmation on weather exchanging the final disc is possible.

I have also recieved my first two PPV certs. I miss the mail service, I have local blockbusters which makes it more enjoyable for me I suspect. I can easily get new releases as long as the stores stay open.

Thanks, but no thanks.

AND- what did you think of the movie? Didn't interest us. but maybe we're missing something.

As soon as the Tsunami was over, I fell asleep(it was boring), but my wife enjoyed it. My wife gave the movie to our daughter.

So what is the deal from Dish regarding movie certificates? I received an email informing me I have two certificates which expire on Dec. 20, 2013 and others have indicated they were receiving two movies a month for three months.

Yes and some like me who received an email advising 1 a month for 3 months. Wonder how they decided that. I have had the Platinum HD since long before it became BB@H. Only feels like I'm getting ripped off, I understand they don't really owe me anything.

All good customers should be treated equal. I would PM a DIRT member and ask them why as a good customer you did not get two per month for 3 months like other good customers. I am on paperless billing, but only subscribe to Dish America and BB@Home and I got two per month for 3 months. I do not get any premium channels.

My last PM exchange with them didn't go so well so I'll pass. I couldn't understand why my September bill was charged $13.32 prorated charge for BB@H in addition to the $10 for that month when BB@H went from half back to full price. After several exchanges they offered to drop the charge, but no acknowledgement that indeed it does seem ludicrous. I insisted it would make more sense for the bill to only reflect a $5.00 increase when a fee goes from $5 to $10 rather than an $18 increase. Guess I need to work on my cypherin'.
