Bad receivers?

I am new to installing.So maybe i'm asking a stupid question here.Does anyone else get what seems to be alot of bad receivers?In the past 4 days I have had 4 bad box's.3 HD DVR's and one d11.It's killing my time per job when i search and search for what "I've" done wrong and it is bad equipment.A few have had bad tuner outputs and one bad card reader.I was just wondering if we got a bad batch or if everyone was experiencing this.

I was on with tech suport and ISS for 45 min. for a bad card reader yesterday. You should check out "the installer zone".
