Bad news about S9 Firmware?

I sent an email to Openbox & they wrote back, (a good sign) I asked about the closed captioning not working here on the Openbox S9. I guess the next problem is to find the right people that handles the software for this box and ask them? My wife needs her silence to sleep at night and I am on the couch.

For Openbox S9HD model, many companies can do it, including us.

But our main market only in East Europe and Europe, and we dont have the software for your market


Anyway, pls contact your supplier for the software, they can make the software too

I don't know where Sadoun was getting FW or where else it is supposed to come from. Some claim to have exclusive FW, well nothing is "exclusive" on the internet anymore.

Anyway, this is the place I've seen talked about. That is why I went on a clone search.

Yankee, thats the same thing they said a year ago too. Jamal at Sadoun managed to import them and get the motor issue fixed with them. If enough owners express interest to the manufacturer then they may see the U.S market is a viable market. Blind
