Hi,

I woke up yesterday to find my HR24 telling me that it couldn't read my card. After troubleshooting with D* they transferred me. The tech said it was a bad card and it would take 3-5 days for them to send me a replacement card. I asked if they could overnight it and they said they don't do that.

Just ranting, but shouldn't D* have the ability to overnight a card? I only have one HD box, so switching another one out temporarily is not an option. I just think that's too long of a time to keep their customers without service. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

What about waiting 7-8 days for a tech to come out and fix something you've only had a week and hasn't worked correctly since day!1? I would ask for credit for the time you can't use it. I did.

when I had a bad card they sent it overnight FedEx for $20 which they credited back to my account once I activated it.
