Backfeeds ?

Has anyone tried this. If you hook up the backfeed (agile modulater) from one dual tuner DVR to the uhf/vhf input of a 942/622 and then scanned for analog local channels, would the channel for the backfeed not be detected and put into the guide ? Just wondering.

I dont believe the 942 can pick up analogs at this point. They promised it in a software release, but we never saw it.

Why would you want to do that?

Mine will pick up analog stations. Just wondering for a whole house distribution. Can sit in the den and watch what has been recorded on the other DVR's and also schedule conflicting shows at more than one locations.

Oh..sorry...I read it wrong. For some reason, I thought you wanted to output the 942 back into itself.
