B Band Converter / Dual Tuners

If I don't have access to another satellite in line, but have two available lines ( dual tuner ) on the receiver, do I have to attach 2 B Band Converters (One for the live line, the other offline ) ? Even though one wouldn't be connected to anything but the receiver ?

if you wish to, just know where the second was is but yes you can do so then go to channel 499 to make sure everything is ok

So its not " required " ? Obviously, most , if not all the new Directv/Tivo boxes have dual tuners ( Satellite in port 1 , Satellite in port 2 ) . I just don't have 2 lines . So I'm figuring all I need is 1 B Band Converter for that receiver ( for now anyways ).
