AZBox Beep on Signal?

Does anyone know how to get an AZBox Elite to "Beep on Signal" for dish aiming?

The only thing you could hope for is to beg the company to add that as a feature.

I've not known any receiver to do that except for DirecTV/Dish/Bell receivers.

Well, the Coolsat 8100 I have does make a sound when you get a signal...it's more of a shriek than a beep though...grates on the nerves.

That's why I use the old "hacker firmware" on my CS8000. It allows you to turn off that NOISE .

I use my Coolsat 5000 with FTA firmware version 006 connected to the LOOP OUT of the AZBox for the more responsive meter and the BEEP ON SIGNAL option. Coolsat 6000 also works for this.

yeah the ear piercing "sound" errr beep on the CS8000 is pretty annoying
