Autopay- money savings

Thought I read somewhere it would give a $5/ mth discount. True? If one used a credit card, Directv would automatically bill your card and you would pay as you normally do with the card by mailing in the payment to the credit card co? Not sure how it works. Dont want anyhting thats like a debit card. Thanks for any help.

The info is on Directv's website. It's a one-time $5 credit, not $5/month. They call it autopay and you can use a credit card or have it come out of a bank account. If you use a credit card it becomes just like anyother purchase, e.i. you pay the credit card, not Directv.
