I have a few of the legacy converter boxes. Specifically, several of the Zenith DTT901s and a couple of the DISH Network DTV Pals. Anyway, I am staring to look around for what new boxes are available that include an HDMI port. What are some of my better choices? I know when the earlier coupon eligible ones came out they seemed to vary a lot in receive performance.

I did look at the Stellar Labs DT-800 at MCM. The few reviews posted are favorable and the $49.99 price seems reasonable. What other choices do I have? Also, I wouldn't necessarily rule out other additional features either, like a built in hard drive for recording, if the price is reasonable.

Best Buy has a device called "Roamio OTA", that's an OTA only dvr. $50 to buy it, then $14.99 a month. I've been researching these the whole last year, and the Tivo Roamio is the only one that is basically bulletproof of bugs, and for ease of use. http://www.avsforum.com/forum/42-hdtv-recorders/1658977-tivo-roamio-ota-dvr.html

There are other various $40 OTA dvrs with no ongoing fees, but you have to add an external drive, (IF you want to use it like a dvr) and they seem to be a bit buggy.

Here's the best of the batch: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/42-hdtv-recorders/1465875-iview-3500stb-tuner-dvr-owners-thread.html

Then there is this, around $350 w/external drive you purchase: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/42-hdtv-recorders/1481183-channel-master-dvr-owners-thread.html

I did a google search for "ATSC tuner withHDMI output" lots of results. First was a Ematic AT103B at Walmart $29.95.
Also found an Ebay listing it has ATSC,HDMI and recording capability.
