AT&T To KEEP the DIRECTV Name

I guess another way of looking at it is AT&T DTV, UVerseTV, UVerse Internet and UVerse Phone would all fall under the AT&T Entertainment umbrella? Kind of like how a car company has different divisions. However in some of the articles about the name they suggested AT&T eventually phasing out both the DTV and UVerseTV names unless they were just speculating on that?

At this point its speculation.
I haven't seen anything official in the company emails of late.

DSLREPORTS picked up story from another site. They were not the originator of the story. Not sure what your hatred for that site is.

They will 'report', like you said, usually just repost or rip off what was posted elseware and then spin doctor it to fit their agenda in the begging blurb.

1 gigabit socialist fiber = Good
2 gigabit Comcast = Bad

Anything at all done by AT&T, VZW, Sprint = Bad
A T-Mobile employee farts without saucing themselves = Good

ESPN = Bad, Sports = Bad.

Entitled individuals who think they deserve 1gig fiber/wifi/cellular where ever they go and pay at most, no more than $15 from it because the 'evil corporation' are screwing then in some made up way.
