They are pretty much the same price when you look at the data only plans for both companies. These days you can get voip through the cell phone for free or use net talk for $30 per year. There are free text apps as well such as google voice. Groove IP allows you to have free phone service through an internet connection using your Google Voice number.

1375 is about 55/line which is pretty good for smb.

I use an iPhone 4S with a go phone sim. 50.00 unlimited talk and text. I am near a free wifi hotspot all the time so I don't need AT&T 's overpriced data.

You aren't the target market anyway. This is aimed at Small Business where $55/mo/line before discounts is a good deal.

Until you need/want a new phone. They keep you on it till you reup. Unless you pay full boat for a phone of course..
