AT&T HomeZone version of Vip 622

I got one of these AT&T HomeZone DVR's at the office brand new and never activated.

To make a long story short, its been sitting on my front counter at the office for a month now because Dish will not let me activate it on my showroom account.

I do not have the origional box anymore, but I do have all the accessories including the eithernet bridge. I think I got the instruction manual, and I'll include it if I can find it.

Should be able to activate it on any DISH Network account, to use the VOD features it requires an AT&T Yahoo! DSL account and a 2 wire wireless router supplied by AT&T as part of your DSL Service.

Does it have to be a 2wire router? I have a DISH account, and an AT&T/Y! DSL account. Could I just plug this into wired ethernet? Or could I use any other Wi-Fi router?

Yes, I'm using 100 Mbps wired Ethernet. And works before thru Air101 WiFi AP without problem

2WIRE router is just AT&T gimmick.
