AT&T approved to buy Qualcomm spectrum (Dish not going anywhere)

Found this today - thought I'd pass it on since there seem to be so many rumors flying around here.

Thats really old news (not the approval) just the deal and is completly unrelated to the dish rumors and infact may encourage them

I think this just goes further to demonstrate the likelihood of Dish Network buying AT&T.

I guess I'm not making the connection somewhere. Is the speculation that AT&T would need to aquire Dish (or another TV provider) to be competitive with the likes of Fios? As far as bandwidth is concerned, that is where I don't see the issue (and where this story should have deminished talks of them trying to aquire OUR bandwidth)

we dont have any bandwidth..dish does.(cellular)and they will do whatever they have to do to make the most money
