They were at my house last week saying that Fiber was coming to my neighborhood.
When asked about top speed they said 20MB.
Err no thanks, I have 60mb now from Cox and that is getting boosted this fall to 100 by COX.

Man 60mb I bet that not cheap.
Not too bad, we are paying $81 for the next 6 months. Then it goes up to $99.
The speed is rumored to be boosted to 100 or 150 Mbps before September. I have seen them working on things at night (The cable modem has been down from 2:30am to 4:30am the past few nights) and now we are bonding to 8 channels instead of 7 like we were before.
The same happened in other cities where COX has done this work recently as well. I believe Las Vegas and Arizona now are up to 150 Mbps and we just bumped up recently.

I'm happy with Uverse speed at the moment.
But I'd like faster. We have a new service called
OMG fast. You need a dish to get the service.
I can't get it yet. I'm not in line of site to tower.
