Area blackout for NASA???

So, I'm happily watching the series of 50th Anniversary speeches on NASA channel 283 and the screen goes blank. Then a message pops saying this programming is not available in my area.

NASA with regional blackouts? You've got to be kidding!

You think I can get anyone to answer at DTV? Hah!

I'm getting " Game search didn't find your program" "Education File is blacked out on this channel" "Sorry, it is not viewable on any other channels"

There are problems with the 101 sat this morning. It must be related to that

TCM, History, History International, ESPNU and GSN are all blacked out.

After over half hour on hold, a human voice answered and said they have a bunch of channels out.No ideas on when they will be fixed. But it is a well known problem.

It's gotten better since I posted this Getting a upgrade install this morning - High Def Forum - Your High Definition Community & High Definition Resource this morning. It was really nuts watching the signals change on 101 earlier.

From what I heard is sounds like there was some Technical Problems with the 101 Sat.

A half hour on hold. I've never been on hold anywhere even close to that. They must have been deluged with calls.

I hear it was a computer glitch and not the SAT itself.

Don't know if Jason or Scott posted this elsewhere, but... we got this in from Directv this morning...

There was a temporary issue this morning that was resolved a few hours ago.
