Wild Feed Newbie question:

When I blind scan into a wild feed, is it worth keeping for future checking? That is, if they use a particular Frequency/Signal Rate/VPID one day, are they likely to reuse it the next day or week or so?

depends on who is broadcasting it...Sports feeds seem to be more on par to be the same than news feeds (dont ask me why)

a good way to see is if you get a quality signal but no picture, then the PIDs have changed

Comcast Sports South (CSS) is notoriously known for this :)

I save all of my feeds from the DMT 1000. I only get rid of them when the tr's have gone to news feeds like the switch on G11. WDRB, NFL Total Access, NBC's sports feed on AMC 1, ESPN's on G11 K6 mostly use the same PIDS.

I've got a couple saved in my setup
WDRB
Omega
The ones on SBS6 that WI Hockey uses (hopefully they work this weekend) :)

Mike...are the ESPN ones on G11 4:2:0 or 4:2:2?
