Are there any G-3 rumor's yet?

I have put of buying a machine as I wanted them to work all the bugs out. I was hoping by the time 3rd gereration devices came along this would have been achieved.

Are their any reports about the 3gen HD DVD yet?>

I haven't heard a thing. Second Gen started shipping last November, so somewhere around then?

I would assume all new generation BD and HD DVD players will have fixes and upgrades.

To directly answer your question I would guess we will begin seeing second generation BD players coming out sometime in Q3 - Q4 '07 and third generation HD DVD players will begin to be available by the beginning of Q4 '07.
