Are Chicago MPEG4 Locals Available?

I was just wondering because I read here someone tried to get a VIP unit activated without having a Dish 1000 and was having trouble.

I am getting my VIP 211 on Friday which I purchased through a retailer. I won't have my VIP 622 and Dish 1000 until the 27th. I want to get the new channels come Friday.

Are the installers letting us keep the 61.5 satellite with a Dish 1000 dish setup?

if you have 61.5 you wont need the dish 1000 untill locals light up.. you could allways repoint your 61.5 to 129 and that would get you all the channels..

I have several Dishes lying around. Am going to try to get one pointed to 129 just for fun!
