Are all outputs of Joey active at once?

I have my Joey hdmi out going to my A/V receiver then on to my projector. No problem with this hook up in sight and sound. I also have the component video outputs going to a display in another room (the cables go through the wall to this room), however, I get no sound or picture from component on that tv. I use to have a 722 box and all outputs were active at the same time. Is this suppose to still be true with Joey?
correction: I meant to say composite connection, not component.

The Joey doesn't have component output,it it's a composite out..

Yea, it is composite and I corrected my previous post. I just found the problem too. I had not seated the composite cables fully into the joey. They needed to go in very firmly to seat properly. Once I did that I got a picture and sound. Thanks!
