Regardless if it's scrambled or not, just wondering if this TP (below) listed at Lyngsat's IA 5 is still alive or not at all any longer? (it's contributed in 2001 after all)

It shows there as Digicipher 2 (unlike many other KU band's tps on IA 5) .. and my receivers can't check for Digicipher / Digicipher 2 signal.. (not to my best knowledge anyhow)

"11894 H tp 10L Merrill Lynch TV Digicipher 2 4880-3/4 1 ?-? Ku" ( http://www.lyngsat.com/ia5.htm )

Yes the DC2 signal is still there. There are four signals on Transponder 10:

11894H 4880 Encrypted DC2

11900H 2000 IP/DVB Data

11907H 3250 Encrypted DC2

11914H 5700 Encrypted DVB AAPN mux

well.. there are commercial DC2 recievers as well.. I had one kicking around somewhere, but I have no idea where it is at the moment :)

Wow, I just check the prices we are taking about $400 and $500. I just wait for the korean to get into the HDTV market. I know the Wally Word has Chinesse HD TV's for less than $300.

I think not, NPS is advertising tthe 922 on "sale" at $399.00. I got mine on sale a couple of years ago for that price from Skyvision. At one one time they were as I high as $699.00. Oh yea, at $399, well worth the price. :)
