I stand corrected. Actually I'm about 200 miles west of "Nawlins".
My sat calculator shows hispasat at 15 deg. and the 43.1 to be 26 deg.
I musta been thinking in reverse.

I tried to find 43w about an hour ago. I found no signal for 12050H/23700 but scanned and found 12098V/29991 and 12003V/3122 with strong signal and quality.

Both Hispansat and 43w are very doable (with regard to elevation) from Nawlins (unless some inconsiderate neighbors put up a three-story apartment south-southeast of your dish farm Can still hit them though
