Anyone still using PVR 921 for OTA

Just want to know if this box still works for OTA? Have an old one lying about (with a dead Hard Drive) and just wondering if it is worth resurrecting? (I have a couple of 622's for Dish programming - just want another HD OTA receiver (and if possible DVR).

you will need a connection to the satellite for it to work but yeah it should still work for OTA. I have a 811 that works the same way (just for OTA)

Oh yes! The $1000.00 921 ota tuner box. I traded this receiver in years ago to get my first 942 receiver with name based recording. I vowed to NEVER, ever again pay that much for a sat receiver.

The 921 was shut off by Dish. I couldn't get it to work for OTA even though it was connected to sat dish. Got a new (or refurbed) 722 for it for no charge by Dish, I still have the 921 receiver, may turn it into a boat anchor.
