Yes I am actually going that way tomorrow..
Can you tell me if i can use this to take one my basic boxes out to the campgrounds? Will get pick up what I need to pick up? Also how hard are they to set up?

Well our idea is to use it to set up the 3 lnb set up, I don't need to worry about the 5 lnb when camping.

I just bought this for camping use and have not used it yet, but I use to have a different set up mounted ON the camper and never had any trouble settin it up.

Most of the tripod set ups are set to handle the 3lnb or less, it's got a hole to fit the smaller mast, so normally the larger 5 lnb won't work yet.

Your basic rec's should work great.

i would suggest practice setup at home. the easiest way is to start with plum mast.

good backup dish

I have a mobile crank up dish on my motor home but I bought a backup for the times when my dish is blocked by trees at campgrounds. Here is the link to the company I bought mine from. Setup is easy since the tripod has a level to plum the post and a compass to aim you correctly. And it comes with 2 nice carrying cases (one for the dish and one for the base)
