Anyone Having Problems with Universal Studios BD?

First off, these were from BB and played on my Panny BDP30...with latest firmware.

First was Hanna. When paused for more than a minute, Universal Logo would replace the picture. Play would not...play. Had to go to pop-up menu...which all of a sudden started the movie again.

Second was Assault on Precinct 13 (remake). After hitting play from main menu, it got stuck in reading mode and never played.

Cleaned both discs. No difference. No major scratches.

Hard to tell what or where the problem is. But two Universals in a row makes me wonder.

Universal has always authored their discs that way. When the Universal screensaver pops up, you hit the pop-up button. Why? Don't ask me.

Had no problem with Assault, although it has been a while. SOmetimes things just aren't visible. Report/return it and try another is my only suggestion.

I've had the same issue with the stupid Universal screen saver.
