Other providers will auto-skip commercials for you.. DTV makes you hunt the inter-tubes for a secret code. DTV should simply man-up and put these under system options.

There was a section with all this type of info in it, not sure if it's still there and/or been updated though.

Yea , Dish can't even Buy Sprint without a future lawsuit. OH and Tivo says they are glad Dish liked the product and innovation Dish stole and lost their lawsuit over.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Dish's Auto hop only skip the 4 major networks. If so you still have to skip commercials yourself.

Dish, really is as maverick in the industry.
I guess a reflection of its owner.

I would not compare any provider with dish.
They are a strange unique lot. They take chances
That either they win or loose

I don't always like the way dish operates but I love and respect that they are always pushing the envelope.

Direc tends to play it more safe and that's ok.
I thoroughly enjoy their product as well.

With the least amount on content,FAR less subscribers, and more money spent on lost lawsuits that they could have spent on their customers programming options. If dish were true innovators over Directv they wouldn't be just a fly on the wall in the Directv world.
