The main thing that makes me hesitant about Akimbo is that it seems most of their video providers only give a few items to basic $9.99/month subscribers, and require an additional monthly fee per video program provider in order to really get a decent selection. It just seems as if a customer could end up paying significantly more than the basic rate to really get a complete package with lots of interesting content to watch.
I also believe that besides the aforementioned adult and B-movie categories, that IPTV providers should really look into providing foreign language, because the existing providers could use some competition, and as it stands, it seems a great deal of foreigners will pay quite a bit of money to get some TV from their homelands. There are probably also languages / cultures not offered on satelllite that might be big enough markets for IPTV, even if there is no "business case" for E*, D*, or Globecast to carry them.
