anybody know how to delete "purchases" from the listing on the DVR?

I don't think it's possible to delete a purchase. Sounds like you don't want someone to know what you bought!

You could always tell her it was a "mistake".

Your purchases are stored on the access card and possibly the hard drive.
So you could do a total reset of the DVR and accidentally destroy the card.

The only way to delete the purchase history would be to reset everything. The receiver will be reset back to factory default. It will erase all recorded programs, favorite channels, parental setting.
