Not sure what the problem is, but the remote (as yet apparently) can't be updated with Dish's remote codes.
When I told them I have 2 Oppo Blu Ray players, an LG 4K TV, and an Onkyo AVR, I gave them the model numbers and they updated the app firmware and then I was able to program each button as I pleased, including macro's for multiple actions, and all are being controlled just fine. But no Dish, so sorry.
This remote I bought to replace my aging Logitech 520, which DOES work with my Hopper but is wearing out physically.
Any idea what the deal is here? If Logitech can do it, can't anyone else? I mean, it's just remote codes, not the keys to the gold mine.
School me.
