Any thoughts on last nights episode?

But do we actually know what their meaning is yet?

And I'm still confused about the so called "parallel" storylines.
History in the PTL (parallel time line) is different than what was before all the characters crashed.

No a whole lot of questions answered other than the brief glimpse into the numbers and a little history between Jacob and the smoke monster/Locke (inside joke with the rock).

I got a kick out of Locke trying to drop his wheelchair platform on Hurley's Hummer and it got stuck before it hit it. Man that guy is the luckiest guy in the world in this PTL.

One has to wonder if "Jacob" was really the bad guy. Everyones life he "touched" seemed to go to hell in the real world:

Hurley - from nothing goes wrong, to everything goes wrong
Locke - May be in a tough place paralyzed but now seems to be getting his life together with his fiancée and new job
Sawyer - after meeting with Jacob his mom fell into the con man
Jack - Life in real world fell apart after Jacob encounter

The list seems endless. We seem to see a much better life for all the Jacob victims if he did not interfere.

I'm thinking Hurley is the next Jacob/caretaker of the island... he's showing more leadership qualities this season, he can see the dead, and he's the most genuine person out of all of them.
