Antennacraft U-8000

just got U-8000 antenna and there 10G202 amplifier hooked up!
I bang every Syracuse NY station that's about 45-55 miles from me.
antenna is in attic.
35 channels total.
DRAWBACK: I have to lower antenna about 2 feet to receive WTVH-5 (RF-UHF-47) and lose channel 3 (24) and 9 (17)?
moved some stuff in attic with different results.

I should mention; when I shut OFF FM-TRAP on the amplifier I receive practically nothing!
Antenna faces about 250 degrees+- south-west for best receptions. and to compromise for the north east and east Utica stations. not to mention another south of us at about 240 degrees.
