Update: DEC 22 2010

Antenna TV has announced its first week (Jan. 1-9) episodes and movies. We are very happy to report that every series they will air will start with the first episode and go in order from there. The only exception to not starting from the beginning will be on the Sunday series Showcase '39 which starts with episodes 153 and 154 ("Mr. Kagle & the Baby Sitter" and "Panic") in the 7am hour. That series is very rare as it is, so it doesn't really matter. There will be a few series that will go in production order, like Maude, but most will go in airdate order (such as Three's Company). The network launch marathon weekend of Jan. 1-2 with The Three Stooges and Benny Hill will also be aired in order, with Benny Hill's first 46 episodes airing. They will start both series from the beginning again on their regular Friday and Saturday night airings starting Jan. 7.
As for the films, they will air the movies weekdays from 1am-1pm and on weekends from 3am-7am. A nice mix of films from the '50s to the '90s will air from the Columbia Tri-Star library. Premiere week films are Real Genius (1985), Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), Dick (1999), Blind Date (1987), Mrs. Winterbourne (1996), The Freshman (1990), Born Yesterday (1950), Picnic (1955), Muppets From Space (1999) and Muppets Take Manhattan (1984). That is just for week one (Jan. 3-9), look for more classics to come! We are about 10 days away from the Jan. 1 launch! Check out their website for affiliate information and stay with us for further information!

Last week we announced that KTLA in Los Angeles will be airing a preview of Antenna TV on Dec. 18, 19 and 26. And Dec. 18 and 19 was a success with shows like Dennis the Menace, Father Knows Best, Burns & Allen, Sanford & Son, Gidget, Circus Boy, The Monkees and The Three Stooges all getting a preview. We announced that on Sunday, Dec, 26 from 1pm-4pm PT, KTLA would have The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok and The Iron Horse, but KTLA has changed the scheduled a bit. The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin remains in the 1pm hour, but at 2pm it will now be an episode of Here Come the Brides and the 3pm hour will feature back-to-back episodes of The Partridge Family. Fans in L.A. please take note of the change! After this preview airs in Los Angeles, Antenna TV is less than 6 days away from launch on Jan. 1 nationwide!

Antenna TV Launch Schedule Changes; Centric Adds Sister Sister and The Unit

We are only 5 days away from the Antenna TV launch on Jan. 1! The launch weekend will remain the same but Antenna TV has made some schedule changes to its regular line-up for early weekday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Why? Sony Pictures Television could not get all of the tapes of the rare series to Antenna TV in time for launch. Also, some episodes are not acceptable copies and they are waiting for them to get remastered. The rest are rare Sony shows that are still on film and they don't have most of the episodes ready yet. As soon as they are ready, they will be placed on the schedule at a later date. Shows affected are: Burns & Allen, The Farmer's Daughter, Showcase '39, All-Star Theatre, Circus Boy, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok and Iron Horse. Thus, since most of the episodes for these are not ready, they will not be on the launch schedule but as I said, they will be placed on the line-up as soon they get a good amount of episodes on tape.
Starting next week, Jan. 3, weekdays from 1pm-4pm has changed from the original plan as well as Sundays from 7am-1pm. Weekdays in the 1:00pm hour will now be Father Knows Best not originally scheduled Burns & Allen. At 2:00pm, Dennis the Menace is now scheduled instead of Hazel. At 2:30pm another Dennis the Menace will air instead of The Farmer's Daughter. At 3:00pm Hazel is on instead of Father Knows Best. And at 3:30pm we get another Hazel instead of Dennis the Menace. To recap the weekday 1pm-4pm changes, Farmer's Daughter and Burns & Allen are no longer scheduled and we get more Father Knows Best, Hazel and Dennis the Menace. The rest of the weekday schedule that was originally planned will remain intact.
As mentioned, Sundays 7am-1pm will also change starting Jan. 9. Another block of The Three Stooges will air from 7am-10am replacing an hour each of Showcase 39, All-Star Theatre, and Circus Boy. From 10am-1pm we get an hour each of Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace and Hazel as they will now also air on Sundays now! This means The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok and Iron Horse are not premiering. We will let you know when those three, and also the two sitcoms on weekdays, will premiere as soon we get the information! Fans of Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace and Hazel are certainly happy though, as they are now getting much more airtime! Stay with us as usual for further information!
Keep on discussing Antenna TV on our message board!

I discovered the Huntsville AL RTV channel has switched to AntennaTV on 1-1-11. Maybe RTV wasn't bringing in the numbers for them, they don't change up their scheduled programs very often. Ch 19-2 has a very good signal for me too!

WNEP channel 16 from Scranton, PA also removed RTV and replaced with Antenna TV.

Been watching it on WGN 9-2 and so far it's incredible. It carries some of the same shows as Me TV and Me Too but quite a few new shows I haven't seen in years.
I'm blown away by the quality compared to Me. I'm watching Married with Children right now and it's the same as when it originally aired, Me versions are very faded with poor sound. Three Stooges is so razor sharp and clear it's almost like they filmed new episodes last week using modern cameras. Seems a bit unnatural as in they may have been digitally remastered.

Few A/V sync issues but nothing that lasted. Hopefully they'll put a guide up soon, right now it's just "Regularly Scheduled Programming".

This is killing me not being able to watch "Antenna TV". I even installed one of the largest UHF OTA antennas in hope to receive "Antenna TV" somewhere. Eastern PA gets three sources for "Antenna TV" (Philadelphia, Scranton and Harrisburg) and Western PA gets nothing. :(

Even better would be to make it available on FTA satellite.

Yeah but like the druggie said "gotta get higher man" ;)
When it comes to distant OTA stations the higher the better. I had to put my antenna on the roof of the house to get the station I wanted. The deck just didnt cut it :)

I have no way to add a tall tower to get Antenna TV on WJW-TV 8.2 in Cleveland..Luckily, just today WJW-DT 8.2 was added to Time Warner Cable in Northeast Ohio..Channel 988 (Just before our RTV affiliate on channel 989)..Also Antenna TV on my Insignia TV QAM Cable tuner on channel 8.2

In San Jose California we don't have Antenna TV, or Me TV or even RTV. We do have This TV, four different sets of PBS stations and a lot of foreign language channels.

Popcorn, How far are you from the nearest station with Antenna Tv? Looks like you need to put that antenna on a nice tall pole.
Hopefully some station in Cincinnati or Dayton will pick it up it and I will be able to get it...blind

Just as Iceberg suggests, you need to get it higher. Maybe a gable mount at the top of your roof, or run a pole up the side of the house for the antenna is above the house. Trees will greatly reduce the signal. For the most part, UHF signals are line of sight and easily blocked. If it is very far off then a good quality pre-amplifier will also be needed. Check tvfool web site to see how strong of signal you can expect before going any farther. It should give you a starting point for what to expect.
