No, but I'm crossing my fingers and waiting. If they show up on FTA along with the debut of MeTv this morning this will be a good year for FTA! I'm glad to see we're getting a few things back after we've lost a lot in the last few years....Blind

I heard it's going to be encrypted. :( It may show up on WGN's transponder on G-14. I got a test pattern OTA here for months wonder if the freeview will light up there?

I don't know if is same as METV but heard somewhere that they are already with color bars at AMC 3

Antenna TV is now listed in the Tribune/WGN mux on Galaxy 14. It's PowerVu encrypted like the other channels in the mux.

It also is now mapped at 9.2 OTA here in Chicago today. It was unmapped at 19.2 for months. They are getting ready for the rollout. Too bad they put it in the PowerVu mux encypted. Never seen that mux ITC. :(

I certainly enjoyed watching ME TV last night (Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Bob Newhart Show). Too bad Antenna TV won't be ITC as well. Hopefully it will become available in the Pittsburgh area soon OTA.

UPDATE DEC 18 2010

As I understand today's preview of Antenna TV will actually be on KTLA channel 5 itself and not on a subcarrier. KTLA can be found on Dish Network, Film ON (which also added channel 5 and 11 from New York today and is FREE) and other sources. I believe the preview will be on tomorrow as well.

Edit: I just checked the guide on Dish Network for KTLA and it does show that "Dennis and Menace", "Father Knows Best", "The Monkees" and other Antenna TV programming will be shown all weekend.

Simply download Film On and watch for free or purchase KTLA from Dish Network for $2 a month.

I just added KTLA onto my Dish Network account for $2 a month and added timers to record this weekends Antenna TV preview.

They must be using taped shows as Antenna TV in the Tribune mux is only running at 250 Kbps. Even though it's H.264, I don't think that's high enough for actual programming. RTV's H.264 channels run between 1.5 Mbps and 2.2 Mbps.

If it doesn't become available FTA, I hope enough major cities can carry it OTA. You would think the advertisers would want as many eyes as possible watching. I think RTV realized this 5 years ago and left it FTA for everyone to enjoy.

I just read that IVI now has MeTV and Me Too plus will probably be carrying Antenna TV. That $4.99 a month that IVI charges now doesn't seem as bad.

Ahh just did a rescan of my little TV on my desk and work and found happiness. :)
