There is a return to tunerless tvs, but most I see still have them. With such a drop in price for tvs, I don't see the advantage to not including an ota tuner.so hows an antenna work with so many tuner less monitors (no tuner its not really a tv)
are people buying tuner boxes also?

IIRC, only LG panels and most projectors didn't come with tuners last year and I'm pretty sure LG has seen the error of their ways. Projector people are used to having things that are more modular I suppose. There is a return to tunerless tvs, but most I see still have them.
I think you're getting hot and bothered over a situation that no longer exists. What current model panels don't have a tuner? From what I have researched, TVs have no tuners due to tax laws.
Vizio tried that and had to go back to putting tuners in their latest models. I for one wanted one of the Vizio's, but passed on it, due to no tuner. There is a return to tunerless tvs, but most I see still have them. Agreed. MeTV, Antenna TV and COZI should be on satellite but aren't. Nick at Night and TV Land used to show all of these oldies programming but decided that it wanted new production. Now I rarely watch TV Land and Nick at Night.I have 3. When I had Dish, we only needed one. I like my sub-channels (METV, Create, AntennaTV).

Yeah, I have the C Band version of MeTV on SES1 at 101w. I hear Cozi is on Ku band, but I've been too lazy to hook up one my Ku dishes to pick it up. I thought that it would be nice to have it on OTA, so I didn't have to switch on the C Band dish for a few channels. I also like to watch local content on the local channels for news and weather.Metv and Cozi are on satellite for free C band and Ku band John Henderson. Check out the FTA section.

Thanks, I'll wait for the thunderstorms to end and maybe pull out a 39" dish out of the garage. It’s on 103 Ku

I might give that a try. I have an AZ Box and it does DVBS2.COZI is also on 105W C-band 3780 H 30000 dvb-s2 8-psk. I can get it with my 'new' 7.5' dish, and that's not even completely tweaked-in as of yet.
