I know very little about satellite tv. I am trying to hook it up at a tailgate. I have a direct tv dish and my in-laws dish network receiver. I also have a dish network dish but it has no lnb. Can I hook up the direct tv satellite and dish network receiver and get a signal? If not, can I take the lnb from the direct tv satellite and hook it up to the dish network satellite? Is this lnb compatible? If not, any ideas where I can buy a lnb compatible with a dish network satellite dish? Thanks alot for the help. As you can see, I'm an idiot when it comes to dish tv.

You need a different lnb. You can usually pick up lnb's on ebay for a few bucks. We need a little more information to help with the type to buy. What model receiver do you have? Are you planning on just using one TV with one tuner, or do you want to be able to use two tuners or a DVR? What channels do you want to receive?
